Prevention in a pill. 

We offer PrEP, or pre-exposure prophylaxis, to help prevent HIV infections. 

PrEP, just one pill a day, is for people who do not have HIV but remain at risk for getting the infection from injectable drug use or sex. Daily PrEP use reduces the risk of contracting HIV from sex by more than 90 percent and by more than 70 percent among people who inject drugs. 

We are also one of the few health care providers in the region to offer the 4th generation rapid HIV test, which can pick up an HIV infection 17 days after it has occurred, as well as rapid Hepatitis C testing. For both, patients take a simple fingerstick blood test and they will have their results after only 20 minutes.
