Did you know that here in New York State, residents ages 40-64 qualify for free breast cancer screenings? Yep, it’s true!
But, sometimes it can be hard to find the right time & place for an exam. Enter: The Lourdes Hospital Mammovan.
The hospital mobile 3D mammography unit is teaming up with Family Planning of South Central New York to offer digital screenings for women 35 years & older in downtown Binghamton!
Lourdes’ mammovan will visit FamPlan’s health center at 117 Hawley Street on Wednesday, Sept. 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Scheduled mammograms only take about 15 minutes. And results will be sent directly to your health care provider.
During the visit, the mammovan will be located directly across the street in the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator’s parking lot. And the van is wheelchair accessible!
To schedule an appointment and pre-register, call: Lourdes Hospital Central Scheduling at (607)-798-5723.
Walk-ons will also be welcome at the mammovan with photo ID & insurance.
